Zenoss puts on one heck of show! GalaxZ18 was hands down the best IT user conference of the summer. Key partners, customers and prospects flocked to Austin, Texas, for a jam-packed three days of new and innovative technology.
At center stage was the Nutanix-Zenoss partnership.
Zenoss was a wonderful host as they coordinated the first annual GalaxZ Women in Tech Luncheon, sponsored by Zenoss and Nutanix. Filling the room to capacity were talented individuals from across the spectrum of the technology field. The lunch featured speakers such as Nalini Belaramani, engineering leader at Google Cloud, Lynn Atchison, chief financial officer at Spredfast, Megan Lueders, chief marketing officer at Zenoss, and Rachel Gallaway, director of customer success at Zenoss. Representing Nutanix as co-hosts were Claudia Lee, senior director of partner marketing, and Amy Price, channel marketing manager.
Not only did Zenoss and Nutanix sponsor the event, but we also collected signatures raising money to be donated to the global nonprofit Girls in Tech. This nonprofit is near and dear to Nutanix’s social responsibility initiative, .heart.
On the technology side, the case was made for Zenoss as the only enterprise monitoring solution certified as Nutanix Ready – Integrated. The Nutanix ZenPack allows customers with deployed Nutanix hyperconverged infrastructure (HCI) solutions to integrate in-depth monitoring of that infrastructure into their ITOM workflows, using the Zenoss platform. With this ZenPack, Zenoss is able to eliminate blind spots across a customer’s IT landscape, including HCI, legacy hardware and public clouds. This lets them predict impacts to business services before they become outages, resolve issues faster, and operate their IT at web scale.
Showcasing the solution in the “Monitoring HCI With Zenoss” breakout session were Nutanix senior leaders David Ta and Harmail Chatha. The data center duo presented the Zenoss-Nutanix joint solution to a room full of excited customers, prospects and partners. Ta and Chatha illustrated the seamless integration and made the case for why Nutanix uses Zenoss internally as our monitoring platform of choice.

The partnership didn’t stop there. As the conference wrapped up, Zenoss recognized the collaborative effort by both companies to create this joint solution by presenting Nutanix with the 2018 Zenoss Technology Partner of the Year award. Chatha then joined Zenoss Chief Customer Officer Brian Wilson on stage with executives from Presidio, Acxiom and Cegeka for the customer panel general session, sharing insights into today’s IT challenges and requirements as well as successes using Zenoss. Pairing together, Nutanix looks forward to a strong relationship with Zenoss as a key partner in the enterprise monitoring space.
Nutanix is excited to see you all next May at Zenoss GalaxZ19!
